Tinubdan evolved from the Cebuano- Visayan dialect “Tubod” meaning spring. Tinubdan got its name from the prevalence of spring, which are the sources of water for household use of the early settlers. To show how thankful they are for the abundant natural resources of water from the “tubod” and the bountiful blessings received in the barangay, This great activity demonstrates the people’s temperament, culture, and religious devotion through a parade and a dance presentation to make this barangay a day of merrymaking. Tinubdan for their Tubod festival’s success and this will not be realized thru the leadership of Barangay Captain Hon. Marwine Nuñez Mingasca and with your whole-hearted cooperation.
